Custom Orders

For all small orders involving 1 or 2 pairs of personalized chopsticks with or without chopstick box, we make and ship in 2 days.
Most US customers receive their orders in less than a week. If you place a medium size or a larger order, please read below.

For custom orders, please note that the total turnaround time equals production time plus shipping time. Production of custom orders customarily takes 3-5 business days depending on the size of your order and our backlog.

As a general guide, if you are located in the U.S. continental state and
1.) you choose standard shipping, your order will arrive in 2 weeks
2.) you choose rush service shipping, your order will arrive in 1 week
following the date of confirmed order and payment.

Non-Custom Orders

A non-custom order is normally shipped within one business day from receipt of confirmed order and payment.
***Currently, our silk pouch is on make-to-order basis. It may take up to 3 weeks for delivery if you order large quantity.***

As a general guide, if you are located in the U.S. continental state and
1.) you choose standard shipping, your order will arrive in 1 week
2.) you choose rush service shipping, your order will arrive in 2-4 business days
following the date of confirmed order and payment.

If you order both custom and non-custom items, we would normally put everything together in one shipment for you. Thus, custom order delivering schedule will apply.

Tracking Information

For custom orders, please note that your tracking number is usually available 3-5 business days following the date of confirmed order and payment. For non-custom orders, your tracking number is usually available in 1-2 business days. Check Order Status online. Orders which are sent via USPS may not have a tracking number. However, we can advise you on the ship date and the approimate arrival date.

Carriers

We mostly use FedEx and USPS for our shipping. For Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territory orders, we ship mostly via USPS Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation or Delivery Confirmation. For samples or orders under $10, we ship via USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

We reserve the right to choose the carrier which we feel is the most efficient and economical unless otherwise instructed by customer.

Alaska, Hawaii & U.S. Territories

We ship most of these orders via USPS with Delivery Confirmation. In additional to the charges shown in the table above, there will be a flat surcharge of $1.50 added to each order to cover extra postal and handling cost.

Canada

For shipping cost, please refer to the table above. Additionally, there will be a flat surcharge of $2 added to each Canadian order to cover extra shipping and handling cost. All items are shipped from the U.S. and are in U.S. dollars.

Custom-related charges, such as duty, custom fees, import taxes and brokerage fees, are customers' responsibility.

International Orders

We ship worldwide. Please place your order online with your full international address. We'll email you, usually within one hour, your shipping quote. Please do not hesitate to enter your order online because nothing will be charged to your credit card without your final approval. By entering your order online, you'll know exactly how much to ship your order! Alternatively, you can use the table below to gauge your shipping cost.

Many of you asked us whether we ship to the U.K. and Australia. Yes, we do, frequently as a matter of fact. Below is the estimated shipping cost to both countries.

Adding chopstick accessories such as pouches or ribbons only increase your shipping cost marginally.

Based on our experience, both US Postal methods (First Class Air Mail and Priority Mail) arrive just about the same time, 2 weeks usually. The major advantage of using US Postal Priority Mail is that you can track online in most cases (but it's not guaranteed).

Need your chopsticks lightning fast? We can ship express. Federal Express International Priority can deliver to the UK in 2 business days, or to Australia in 2-4 business days depending on your exact location.

Ship one pair of chopsticks - We typically produce and ship one pair of personalized chopsticks in 1-2 business days. The shipping cost for one pair is US$9.95 via U.S. Postal First Class Air Mail to anywhere in the world. It normally takes about 2 weeks to all major cities (transit time) and a few extra days to the outskirts. This shipping method is the cheapest, however it doesn't come with tracking. At checkout, you can state in the Special Instruction Box whether you are happy with the $9.95 shipping method or you prefer a faster service with tracking info. If you tell us you're happy with the $9.95 shipping, we'll proceed your order without contacting you. If you state that you prefer other shipping methods, we'll email you other shipping options.

Customers are responsible for the duties, taxes and brokerage fees associated with the shipment.

Delivery Address

Please provide us with a physical address for delivery. The carrier we customarily use (i.e. FedEx) is unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO's. Your order may be delayed or may not be processed if no physical address is provided.

Changing Delivery Destination After The Order Has Been Placed

If you request to change the delivery address after the order has been placed, we will try our best to assist but we cannot guarantee the result, especially if the package is en route. It is customer's responsibility to pay for all the related charges. Our usual carriers such as Fedex and UPS normally impose a flat rate of $12 to reroute a package. If applicable, the additional fee will be charged to the customer's account.

Incorrect or Insufficient Delivery Address

Carriers such as Fedex and UPS are often able to identify and fix address problems. If that fails, they normally call us (the shipper) for delivery instructions or simply return the package to us. However, they do charge $12 per package for the additional service! If it's our fault and we put the wrong address on, not to worry - we'll pay for the additional charge. Otherwise, the additional fee will be charged to the customer's account. Should the returned package require re-shipping, it is our customers' responsibility to pay for the additional Shipping & Handling cost.
